The Magnolia Woods Garden and
Landscape Club, formed during the same time as the Civic Association, has a
membership of men and women. The group requests contributions of $10.00 per year
for full family memberships. The Club meets monthly in the home or garden of a
member family. Educational programs are the usual fare but gourmet refreshments
are added. Yearly, the club hosts five very special social events: a gardens
tour, an ice cream social, a watermelon cutting, a Christmas Gala, and a plant
exchange. One garden is recognized each month as Garden of the Month. Four are
named as runners-up. Our goal is to encourage the beautification of our
community which in turn enhances property values. Our efforts are directed to
making ours a pleasant place to live and work. E-mail jparker@mwca.net for

residing in the Magnolia Wood Civic Association area.
